Eragon Movie Poster

I just saw this movie. I really wanted to see this as soon as I finished the book but I failed to find time before that’s why I only watched it today.

Yeah, I know I have been watching Movies that are adapted from books this past few days… I should have compiled them in one post…. but since I’m doing this now, so be it.

On the first half of the movie, I seriously WOW-ed because it’s fantastic… so surreal… so beautiful. Everything is narrated very clearly and artfully(if there’s such a word). But on the other half, I said “Oh no.” They tweaked details a little bit too much.

Since I have read the book, I can’t help myself but to keep on thinking about the book while watching it. From when Arya came into the scene, everything feels so wrong. Not to mention Eragon’s study session with Brom went missing. And the werecat! I thought he’s an important character. And magic, I want more magic.

If I watched this movie before reading the book, I’ll say it’s wonderful. Beautiful. The fight scenes are breathtaking. The settings, the view… so nostalgic.

Anyways, I can tell you that the story in the book is thousand times more beautiful than in the movie. So if you think the movie is outstanding, you better check out the book and see what I mean.

I’m cutting this here. I’m watching The Da Vinci Code Movie next. Ha ha.
