ef – a tale of melodies

ef - a tale of melodies

Ef -  a tale of melodies is sequel to ef – a tale of memories. Both season never failed to give me heartache and lightheartedness, both at the same time. The series is known for  genius representations of emotions of characters, playful colors with deep meanings and powerful symbols that could mean everything.

ef2.1

The ef series has become one of my favorite because of the uniqueness of the style, and characters I surely fell in love with. With touches of drama and romance, everything is wonderful. The music is superb, catchy OP, ED and insert songs, the melodies are definitely good for the heart.

The plot and settings are great. The art of this series is truly great, I would expect nothing less from the ef series. Some people find the German characters silly, but for me it’s a great style of artistry.

If you are looking for a normal romance, I’d rather not recommend you this because the series focuses more on character’s emotions and dealing with it and not focusing on series of heartbreaking events.

efmeloThis series deserves a whooping 9.5/10 from me. ^^

PS: If you’re interested in watching this title, I recommend you to check out the prequel so you will have a great understanding of the characters. AND you will and might as well enjoy the maximum experience of the wonderful tales of ef.

  1. It failed me in some cosmic sort of way.

It’s a shame that they didn’t go with finishing Kuze’s arc before Yuuko’s. But I see that they did that to expose Miki’s pass encounter with Yuu and Yuuko.

Well, I long anticipated for this so… 9/10 for me.

  2. Furthermore, this is one of the first series that really got me emotionally involved in so many ways that I can count.

Good series, and a nice watch.

    And…

    YUUKO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
