For those who don’t know Kimi ga Nozomu Eien(literally The Eternity You Desire), it is originally a 14-episode drama/romance anime focusing on a love triangle spiced with a large dose of tragedy. The love triangle is between these two girls(Suzumiya Haruka and Hayase Mitsuki) and the guy and the right(Narumi Takayuki).

In every love triangle, one wins and the other goes home broken-hearted. The original series is very dramatic, so it’s up to you who you want the guy to end up with. In the end, one girl won his heart. It’s too depressing for the fans of the other one(like me), right? So the studio produced a 4-episode OVA entitled Kimi ga Nozomu Eien ~Next Season~ giving the other girl a chance, and giving the series a different finale.

Nyanko Attack!

Natsume Yuujinchou is finally back with the season two title of Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou. I was totally excited, and by the time the first episode come out subbed, I became hysterical. I know that BSS will sub this series but I’m not a fan of them(because they don’t release Xvid format, that is). So I tried to find fansubbers other than BSS, I found Jade(a new fansubbing group which I don’t know if they would last) but they’re taking so long. Good thing ainex, which also subbed the first season, considered this as their project! Wohoo!

This is one of the few good anime(I think) this season. The beautiful sceneries reminds me of KyoAni, and I do hope the animation will remain consistent til the end.

Nodame Cantabile Volume 1 Cover

I’m a self-proclaimed Nodame fan. But how could I be a real fan if I have not seen the manga where it was based from? How dare me?

Today’s the last day of my Christmas Break (. And before my break is officially over, I want to share these movies that I have watched. That’s right, I traded these movies for lots of anime episodes but I don’t feel bad about it because I wanted to try something different… and I want something not 2D for a while…

I really don’t know why so many people dropped this series after saying “Wow” on the first few episodes. Could it be it’s poor animation? I don’t think so… Higurashi series has very poor animation too. I have no idea. Honestly, I enjoyed this series as much as I enjoyed ef-melo that season, and I will not take that back.

Akane-iro ni Somaru Saka

Akane-iro ni Somaru Saka (translated as The Hill Dyed Rose Madder) is a 12-episode series concentrating on the story of a guy surrounded by many girls. Ooh, sounds like harem, but actually the romance is not that straightforward because the series is flavored with huge dose of comedy and school stuffs.

It’s kinda sad that the series has ended but it’s a good thing that things ended that way. Ha ha.

ef - a tale of melodies

Ef -  a tale of melodies is sequel to ef – a tale of memories. Both season never failed to give me heartache and lightheartedness, both at the same time. The series is known for  genius representations of emotions of characters, playful colors with deep meanings and powerful symbols that could mean everything.
